You’ll see the same faces when you call us, because we don’t rotate crews through Orange County like a staffing agency. Jesse Calder runs this location, and the technicians who knock on your door are the ones who answer when he calls them at 6 a.m. about a spring that let go in Laguna Niguel. They live here. They know which HOAs in Irvine require specific panel colors and which coastal neighborhoods in Newport Beach fight rust on hardware every single year. What unites them is simple: they’d rather spend an extra twenty minutes doing it quietly and correctly than rush through and hope.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Miguel R. – Lead Technician
Miguel has been turning wrenches on residential garage doors for seventeen years, the last nine of them with Fernbrook in Orange County. He’s our lead on torsion spring work, which means he’s the one who gets the calls from Mission Viejo at 7 p.m. when a door won’t open and a car is trapped inside. He holds manufacturer certifications on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie openers, and he’s the technician we send when a Clopay or Amarr door needs a tension adjustment that has to be done by feel, not by a printed spec sheet. Miguel keeps a small notebook in his truck with measurements from repeat customers so he arrives already knowing the door’s history. He also keeps dog treats in the glovebox, which he’ll ask permission before offering.
Sarah T. – Senior Installer
Sarah leads our installation work across Orange County, from full door replacements in Anaheim Hills to opener retrofits in Tustin condos built in the 1980s. She’s certified on all eight brands we service and specializes in the harder installs: low-headroom tracks in older Huntington Beach garages, side-mount openers where ceiling clearance is tight, and custom wood doors in Yorba Linda that weigh twice what a standard steel door weighs. Sarah worked in custom cabinetry before garage doors, and it shows when she’s trimming weather seal or aligning tracks. She’s the reason we photograph the clean-up on installs, because she treats a finished garage floor like a finished kitchen floor.
Denise K. – Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m., because there is no voicemail tree at this location. She’s been dispatching for home service crews in Orange County for twelve years and has the kind of mental map of the county that makes same-day routing look easy, even when it isn’t. Denise schedules appointments, confirms the written price before a technician ever leaves the shop, and keeps track of which neighborhoods have HOA requirements that need checking before an install. She answers the phone like a person, not a script, and she’ll tell you honestly if a repair can wait until morning or if she’d send someone out that night.
Andrew B. – Apprentice Technician
Andrew is in his second year apprenticing under Miguel, and he handles a lot of the opener diagnostics and maintenance calls, from Santa Ana to Lake Forest. He’s currently completing his manufacturer training on Raynor and Wayne Dalton doors, which rounds out his exposure across the brands we service. You’ll usually see him shadowing Miguel on spring work, learning the torque math and the safety habits that keep a high-tension spring from becoming dangerous. Andrew is the one who wipes down the rollers and tracks as a courtesy even when the job didn’t strictly call for it, because he’s still new enough to notice the small things a customer will appreciate.
One Standard, Every Job
The four of us work under the Cedarwell Care Promise, and that promise isn’t a poster in the shop; it’s a checklist we run on every visit. Shoe covers go on before we step inside, over hardwood in Irvine or carpet in Fullerton. Drop cloths go down where a ladder meets tile. We ask before moving a stroller, a bike, or a pet crate, and we work quietly when there’s a baby napping or a middle-schooler on Zoom school in the next room. Where there’s a choice, we use pet-safe lubricants, because a dog will always lick the track eventually. A written price gets handed over before any work starts, every visit, no exceptions. And before we leave, we take a photo of the clean-up and show it to you. If something isn’t done right, our 365-Day Done Right Promise means we come back and make it right, no negotiation required. That’s the standard Jesse set when he opened this location, and it’s the standard every one of us is held to on every driveway in Orange County.
